A big shake up in the metal recycling industry has meant cash can no longer be paid for Scrap Metal!
The cash ban came into play at the end of 2012 and was put in place to tackle the rise in metal theft; this means that payment can only be made by cash card, cheque or bank transfer.
To make this change easier for their customers, J Davidson have introduced a new cash card system called the J Davidson Smart Card, the card can be issued to J Davidson customers and is so simple to use.
All you have to do is drop your Scrap Metal at J Davidsons, we load your card with cash and then it can be used just like a debit card. This means it can be used to draw cash out at any ATM or in shops to buy goods – there are no hidden restrictions!
This new cash card cuts out waiting for your cheque’s to clear and means you can use your money instantly.
