After the recent addition of two brand new Terex Fuchs scrap handlers, J. Davidson has further expanded its fleet by acquiring a new Volvo FMX 8X4, to further improve the collection and delivery of skips and new Ford Transit pick-up for the collection of scrap cars.
The Volvo FMX is a brilliant piece of machinery. It was built to be incredibly robust and to be able to deal with even the roughest terrain, yet its revolutionary steering system and I-Shift suspension system makes it incredibly light and easy to drive.

Another new addition to the J Davidson fleet is the new Ford Transit pick-up, the second of which has joined the fleet in recent months. It has been kitted out in distinctive J. Davidson livery and the words ‘Cars Wanted’ on the front. The new transit will make scrapping cars in Altrincham and Manchester easier than ever, as it eliminates the hassle of getting the car to the scrap yard.
