Scrap metal dealer awards second £1,000 in its Spring Madness campaign
They say every cloud has a silver lining, and with ‘Spring Madness’ winner, Ebony Poyner, this couldn’t be truer.
When Ebony’s car failed its MOT the day before the most important job interview of her life, she must have thought she was cursed. Luckily, her sister’s friend was on hand to drive her down to the interview. And, luckier still, when her dad took her car into J Davidson to be scrapped, the 20-year-old, Davyhulme resident, was picked out of the hat to win the second £1,000 prize of J Davidson’s incredible 10-week ‘Spring Madness’ campaign.

So why not get involved in our third prize draw, and make this spring one to remember? You never know your luck… “When they phoned me to say I’d won, I was chuffed to bits,” says Ebony. “My dad was going to put some money towards getting me a new car, but now I can treat him by paying for it myself. It didn’t sink in at first, but now I’ve got the cash, I’m going to go out and celebrate.”

When I heard she had won, I was over the moon! She’s only 20, and her insurance is so expensive. This £1,000 will certainly come in handy.”
And if you think it couldn’t get any better, you’d be wrong. Ebony has just found out she was successful in her interview, and will be starting her new job in a couple of weeks. Just enough time to pick out her new car. Talk about perfect timing!
